Training Framework is a set of functionalities and best-practice solutions for innovative trainings in VR that aim to make the virtual operations for every trainee easy and user friendly
Three aspects of the VR Training Framework
Secondly, our Training Framework emphasizes creating high-end VR training experiences that generate an authentic reproduction of specific equipment in a realistic work environment. High-fidelity, both physical and psychological are crucial ingredients when we develop our trainings in VR. The visual aspects, details and accuracy in depicting real world objects is crucial. For example, trainees can experience document visualizations and signing, training labels, use of voice guidance; these elements have already been fully tested, designed, and are ready to be implemented into new projects.
Finally, we are able to eliminate simulation sickness. We use special methods of movement and transportation that our specialists at 1000 realities studio have both designed and developed. Particularly in regard to repetitive training, this solution allows for any trainee to have both access to and achieve learning success when experiencing our Industrial VR trainings.
Example 1: Virtual operations
Example 2: Real-life issues
Each trainee must get up and down a ladder in VR. They see an animation of two hands grabbing the ladder; by pressing the top or bottom of the controller touchpad, the trainee can ascend or descend the ladder. The learner must remember the three points of contact at the working position, and he/she has the freedom to practice work at height in a realistic workplace without worrying about damaging equipment or getting hurt. This high-quality VR training experience was created for Veolia in Poland.
Example 3: Learn by practice
The video allows you to see how inspection with a headlamp is a skill that needs to be learned. In the simulation, the learner can practice how to can for dangerous problems and safety hazards quickly and efficiently. After the training, the learner can get an instant assessment to see how they performed.
Example 4: Authenticity matters
The flow of water in VR is tough to create. However, we know that engagement is critical to training outcomes. To make sure we engage each trainee, we created this VR training experience where the visual authenticity and sound of flowing tap water is added to the training environment. Watch how each movement of the brush by the trainee makes the filter cleaner.
The visual aspects, details and accuracy in depicting real world objects is essential to our immersive training simulations. This short video is an excellent example of the high-quality VR training experiences that we can develop.
